Standing proudly on the island$s northern coast, this striking lighthouse, built in 1922, is surrounded by wild and dramatic scenery – a landscape that feels almost lunar. As we follow the trail and approach the coast, We$ll come across a stunning dune system. Our path, crossing open landscapes and wooden areas, will lead us past hidden coves, ancient watchtowers, and traditional dry-stone walls. At the end of our journey, We$ll reach the island$s only natural Park- s’Albufera des Grau- a true paradise of native flora and fauna. Free time for Lunch at the fishing village of Es grau and transfer back to the Hotel. Free Afternoon for further discover the city of Maó. Dinner at the Hotel.
Enjoy Breakfast at the Hotel before a Short transfer to Favaritx Lighthouse. Today our trail winds through the fields, with gentle ups and downs, across small valleys and occasional stretches close to the sea. Right after we’ll cross the Addaia salt flats, once an important site for salt production on the island. With a bit of luck, we may spot flamingos. Soon after we will arrive at Port d’Addaida and continue on paved roads until we reach our final destination for today – S’arenal d’en Castell. Here we will enjoy some time for lunch while taking in the beautiful sea views. After Lunch we’ll take our private transport for a guided visit to Les Salines de la Concepció, currently the only operating salt flats in Menorca, reopened in 2021 after an ambitious restoration project. After the visit, transfer back to Maó for a free evening.
Today’s stage takes us along a series of coves and beaches with a truly wild and unspoiled character. We’ll pass close to the northernmost point of Menorca, Cap de Cavalleria. At this point we can explore the archeological site of a Roman military camp. The next section stretches along the main road, until we arrive at a natural viewpoint set atop the red cliffs of Cavalleria beach, offering a magnificent panorama of the coastline. On the last section of our hike we will take a moment to enjoy the mix of shapes and colors that make this scenery so unique. Options for lunch at a Local Restaurant by the end of the stage. Then, transfer to our new Hotel in Ciutadella. After some welldeserved rest, join us for an engaging Guided tour of Ciutadella. Dinner included at the Hotel.
After breakfast enjoy a short transfer to the trailhead. Today’s section takes you across one of the most remote and untamed regions of the island. The path moves through landscapaes of striking red earth, creating a vivid contrast with the deep blue of the surrounding sea, offering unforgettable panoramic views at every turn. At some point the trail moves inland through a wooded area shape by pines and oaks towards an open valley which will lead us to Cala Algaiarens,. Here at the end of our hike, we will enjoy a Picnic Lunch-a perfect moment to relax. After lunch we’ll head back to our Hotel, making a delightful stop at a local family run cheese farm along the way. Free afternoon for further discover the city of Ciutadella. Dinner on your own.
For the next two days, our itinerary will take us to discover the southern part of the island, a region that stands in vivid contrast to the landscapes of the north. Here the red earth gives way to white sand, tracing the outline of turquoise coves. The trail becomes rockier in some sections, with a few short but steep ascents and descents along the way, eventually leading us to some of the island’s most popular beaches, such as Cala turqueta, Macarella and finally Cala Galdana. Enjoy free time for lunch in some of the Restaurants by the beach before being transferred to our new accommodation, a traditional Menorcan state, beautifully converted into a charming rural hotel. This afternoon, we will immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of the Menorcan horse, a true symbol of the island’s heritage. Dinner will be at the Hotel.
After Breakfast short transfer to Son Bou for our last hike. Today’s route offers the most remarkable landscape contrast along the entire southern coast, where wild nature blends harmoniously with the traditional rural landscape shape by generations of farmers. We will follow a network of rural paths, alternating between open countryside and some of the island’s most iconic valleys and coastal inlets such as Cala en Porter. Time to explore and enjoy lunch at the end of the stage, before being transferred to your Hotel. This evening as we bring our journey to an end, we will visit a local winery for a wine tasting and enjoy together a farewell dinner.
After Breakfast continue with own travel arrangements. If late departure Joins us for a visit to Binibeca.
